ECM, PCM and ECU cloning by mailYour car's computer died. Your data didn't.

Send us your ECM, PCM or ECU. We copy the calibration, VIN, keys and anti-theft onto a working twin, so it drives exactly like the one you're replacing. No donor? We find one for you.

  • Back in one business day
  • $149, everything included
  • No dealer programming

Have the part number off the sticker ready and we price it on the call, while you wait. Can’t find it? Text a photo to the same number.

The quote you were just given

The dealer sells you a new module, then charges to program it.

You don't need a new computer. You need the one you already have, copied onto a unit that works.

How it works

Four steps, and a text at every one.

The complaint people make about every other shop in this category is silence. You will never have to call and ask where your computer is.

01

Send the number

Read us the part number. We confirm the price and whether your module needs unlocking.

02

Ship it to us

Your original, plus a matching donor if you have one. Packing checklist lands in your email.

03

We clone and verify

Calibration, VIN, immobilizer and settings copied across, then bench-tested on a simulator.

04

Plug in and drive

Back the next business day with an install sheet in the box. No dealer, no second appointment.

Pricing

Two ways to send it in.

Both come back plug and play, and both are bench-verified on a simulator before they ship. You are never the first test.

Path A

Send both

$149Everything included

Ship your original and a donor with the same part number. We copy everything across, test it, and send both units back.

Call (404) 666-8211 to start
Path B · nobody else does this

Send one, we find the twin

$299Module included

Ship only your original. We source a good used, part-number-matched module — the search starts the moment you order, before your box even arrives.

Locked modules

Factory-locked modules

$0Included in both paths

Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram GPEC2, and GM 2014 and newer, leave the factory locked and cannot be cloned as they ship. We clear that on the bench first, at no extra charge.

  • PCM.Ford · Chrysler
  • ECM.GM · most imports
  • ECU.Europe

Same part.

Ford and Chrysler say PCM. GM and most imports say ECM. The Europeans say ECU. Your mechanic probably just calls it the brain.

They are the same box. If it controls the engine and it has a sticker with a part number on it, we can tell you in about a minute whether we can clone it.

Send the whole number, letters included — the letters are the software level, and automatic and manual cars use different computers.

Straight answer

Will this actually fix my car?

Computers get blamed far more often than they fail — it is usually a sensor, a wire or a ground. Here is what a clone fixes and what it doesn't, so you don't pay us for something that won't help.

The computer is one box on a network. Usually the fault is somewhere else.

A clone fixes

  • A computer a shop or scan tool has diagnosed as failed
  • Water, heat or voltage damage, as long as the memory still reads
  • A used computer that won't start the car because of anti-theft
  • A discontinued module with no new part left to buy

A clone won't fix

  • A no-start caused by a sensor, fuel, wiring or a bad ground
  • A computer so dead it can't be read — we tell you before we charge you for cloning
  • Adding new keys, or resetting anti-theft on the car itself
  • A donor that isn't the same part number as your original

For shops and mobile techs

We're your cloning department.

A bay with a dead computer sitting in it makes nothing. Send us the module, get it back plug and play the next business day, and hand your customer one bill instead of a referral to the dealer.

What shops get

  • The same $149. No trade markup games.
  • Several modules in one box, one return charge.
  • A text the moment it ships, with tracking.
  • A straight answer when a module can't be cloned — before you have to tell your customer.

Common questions

Can I just buy a used computer and plug it in?

No, and this is the trap almost everyone falls into. The anti-theft key lives inside the computer, locked to the car it came from. A junkyard unit typically cranks, runs about two seconds and dies, over and over, until the system stops letting the starter turn at all. Cloning your original onto that unit is the fix. What actually happens with a junkyard ECM →

Will my keys still work?

Yes. Your immobilizer and key data are part of what gets copied, so the keys in your pocket keep working. No dealer visit, no re-cutting, no re-learning.

What if my original is completely dead?

If the board won't power up we can often still read the memory chip directly and build the twin from that. If even that fails, we tell you first and go over your options with you before anything else happens.

Do you work with repair shops?

Yes, at the same price. Send several modules in one box and pay one return charge. Call the number above to open a trade line.

What if I don't have a donor?

That's Path B, and it's the part no other shop does. Ship only your original and we source a good used, part-number-matched module for $299 all-in. For common families we usually have one in 2 to 5 days. Where to find a donor → · How our sourcing works →

Is cloning legal?

Yes. You are restoring your own vehicle's data onto a replacement part for your own car, which is why we ask for the VIN and proof the vehicle is yours before we start.

How long does it take?

One business day from the day your computer arrives. Units received by midday ship the same business day; everything else goes out the next.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, on modules we supply — when TwinECM sources the twin under Path B, that module is covered for 6 months. A donor you supply yourself isn't covered, since we can't vouch for where it came from.

One number is all it takes

Read us the sticker. Get your price.

It's printed on the computer itself — on most trucks, driver's side of the engine bay, next to the battery.
